Randy’s extensive career in fashion has spanned over 30 years in New York, LA, Miami, Montreal and Toronto. He began building critically acclaimed visual displays for the Eaton’s department store. In 1989, Randy was named Fashion Editor of the newly introduced Elle Quebec where he influenced trends across all categories. This experience helped shape Randy’s career as a vibrant fashion stylist and art director.
Randy spent sixteen years in the United States working with an expansive network of clients including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales. Career highlights included styling the likes of rock icon David Bowie, pop sensation Justin Timberlake, and Hollywood A-lister Sandra Bullock as well as a television appearance on “The View”. In addition, Randy consulted for Phillipe Dubuc’s men’s line that was launched at The Louvre in Paris.
In 2006, Randy returned to his native Canada and quickly started working with the top talent and clients in Montreal.
In 2008, he joined the marketing team at La Maison Simon’s department store as Photo Director. To execute his vision, he conceptualized visual merchandising plans (both in-store and online) and assembled teams comprised of top photographers, casting models, and hair and makeup artists. He also styled Simon’s Twik, Djab and men’s suiting departments. After two successful years in-house with Simon’s, Randy returned to the freelance arena and relocated to Toronto.
Most recently, Randy fashion directed and/or styled Holt Renfrew, Harry Rosen, Simons, Hudson’s Bay Company and Sears and celebrities such as Daniel Radcliffe, Sir Ben Kingsley and Mia Martina for her MMVA 2015 performance and hit music video Beast. Randy is also responsible for the recent global phenomenon Fashion Santa’s stylish makeover.
